The Vietnamese women's team is maintaining an active training schedule at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, aiming for the best preparation for the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship to be held in Australia.
Sharing about the training spirit of the whole team after a long period of concentration, midfielder Cu Thi Huynh Nhu said that the players are in a comfortable psychological state and highly determined. “My spirit and that of my teammates are currently very good. The whole team will continue to strive to train every day to aim for the best results at the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship,” Huynh Nhu shared.

According to the midfielder born in 2000, the training plan of the Vietnamese women's team in this period is scientifically built by the coaching staff, harmoniously combining physical strength and expertise. Morning training sessions focus on improving physical strength, while in the afternoon the team focuses on practicing tactics, team operation and movement plans to improve the overall playing style.
Assessing the difference compared to previous training sessions, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu said that the training content did not have many major changes, but the whole team still paid special attention to improving the physical foundation to meet the competition requirements in the continental arena.
In recent days, Hanoi's weather has become cold, creating many challenges for players from the South. Huynh Nhu admitted that she initially encountered some difficulties. However, she said that the whole team quickly adapted and always paid attention to keeping warm, ensuring the best physical condition for each training session.

Speaking about the dedication of coach Mai Duc Chung, the midfielder born in 2000 expressed his appreciation for the coach being always fully present on the training ground despite unfavorable weather conditions. “Coach Mai Duc Chung always tries to convey the best things to us. Therefore, the whole team also strives to train seriously to reciprocate the coach's trust and dedication,” Huynh Nhu shared.
Regarding competition in the squad, this player believes that the opportunity is given fairly to all members, the most important thing is the training spirit and efforts of each individual.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will have two friendly matches with the Uzbekistan women's team on January 27 and January 30. This is an opportunity for the coaching staff to review the force, test the squad and complete preparations before entering the 2026 Asian finals.
