The final competition day of the second stage of the men's competition of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship ended on the evening of November 26.
LPB Ninh Binh narrowly won 3-2 against the bottom team XSKT Vinh Long (25-18, 25-12, 25-27, 34-36, 15-10). Despite winning the first two sets, the ancient capital team let their opponents tie the match and drag it into the fifth set.
Vinh Long's determination and constant efforts are commendable, but unfortunately they still cannot bring home their first victory since the beginning of the season.
In the remaining match, Border Defense easily won 3-0 against Da Nang (25-17, 25-20, 25-20). Because the match was just a formality, Border Defense did not use their strongest lineup. With this result, they will finish the group stage in 2nd place.
After a one-day break, the teams will continue to compete in the semi-finals and relegation on November 28.
The four teams that made it to the semi-finals were LPB Ninh Binh, Bien Phong, Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong Tan Cang. Da Nang finished 5th and successfully stayed in the league. The teams that had to enter the relegation round were Vinh Long, Ha Tinh, Ha Noi and Long An.
