On June 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Vietnam to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Youth and Adults' Iron andcket Championship in Vung Tau City
This year, the tournament has more than 200 young athletes (aged 11-16 and 17-20 years old) from 17 provinces, cities and sectors across the country participating, competing in singles, doubles, trios, techniques..., taking place from June 13 to 21 at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Gymnasium.
According to the Organizing Committee, iron badminton is a hidden sport that contains special appeal, requiring precision, sophisticated tactics and the ability to coordinate with high teams of athletes participating in the competition. Thereby, it is not only a game of skill but also trains patience, courage and smart calculation.
In the tournament, young athletes will compete in an exciting, united and determined atmosphere. This is a valuable opportunity for them to interact, learn, and mature through each ball and match. From the tournament, new talents will continue to be discovered, nurtured and shine, contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese sports.
