Of which, 5 matches had famous Vietnamese fighters participating, and there were 3 wins. Notably, in the highlight match of the event, Kieu Duy Quan won the clash with Zhou Haoran (China) in the under 70kg weight class.
Both fighters showed balance, however, after 3 rounds, Kieu Duy Quan won a narrow victory over an opponent with extensive competition experience with 17 wins after 25 appearances.
In the opening match between Nguyen Thanh Dat and Chankham Oathiphong in the 60kg weight class, the Vietnamese fighter won by knockout in the second half. At the same time, in the match against Kobayashi Asato (Japan), Hoang Dinh Manh excellently won by knockout in the first minute of the first half.
On the contrary, Nguyen Xuan Phuong lost points to Wu Chen Hao (China) after 3 rounds of kickboxing. The most regrettable thing is the 2024 Asian kickboxing champion Tran Vo Song Thuong, who, despite dominating from the first half, finally lost near the end of the third half to Korean fighter Kim Ji Sun.
In the remaining two matches, Seo Ji Myeong (Korea) suffered a quick defeat to Yuan Wu (China), while Kwon Hyeon Woo (Korea) quickly won against Niyomjit Pitsanu (Thailand).
