At the 67th Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga were named in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for the song “Die With A Smile”.
On stage to receive the award, Lady Gaga praised the "Uptown Funk" singer, saying: "Bruno, you are an extraordinary person. You are a musician of our time. I don't know music without Bruno."
This was a convincing victory that was predicted, bringing Bruno Mars the 16th Grammy golden trumpet of his career, out of a total of 33 nominations.
In addition, many audiences expressed regret and dissatisfaction when "Die With A Smile" could not win the important trophy "Song of the Year" (the victory belonged to "Not Like Us" by Kendrick Lamar).

On the world's largest music streaming platform Spotify, on January 27, Bruno Mars made history by becoming the first artist to reach 150 million monthly listeners.
The American singer also broke records with “Die With A Smile” and “APT.” reaching 1 billion streams on Spotify in the fastest time, after 96 days and 100 days, respectively. Bruno Mars now has 17 songs on Spotify’s Billions Club.
Early last year, the media reported that Bruno Mars was working hard to "pay off his debt" at MGM Resorts International - the most famous casino in Las Vegas, because of a gambling debt of up to 50 million USD.
MGM has denied the news. But recently, in response to the persistent rumors, Bruno responded humorously by celebrating a new milestone in his career.
On Instagram, the singer shared a post from Spotify announcing the record of 150 million monthly listeners, with the caption: “Keep listening! I will be out of debt in a blink of an eye.”
