The 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament is taking place in the group stage at Tra Vinh Provincial Gymnasium.
In the series of matches that took place yesterday (October 15), Kinh Bac Bac Ninh won 3-1 against Hai Duong, while Thai Nguyen easily won 3-0 against the weakest opponent in the tournament, Vinh Phuc.
In the men's group, the Mobile Police Command lost 1-3 to Ho Chi Minh City, while Ho Chi Minh City Police won 25-22, 25-13, 25-18 against Military Region 3.
Today (October 16), the highlight match will be the competition between Kinh Bac Bac Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City women's teams. Both teams have won all 4 previous matches and are strong candidates for the championship.
In the 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament, the men's category consists of 8 teams and the women's category consists of 6 teams. The men's teams are divided into 2 groups A and B; 6 women's teams are placed in group C to compete in a round-robin to calculate points. Each men's and women's category will only take exactly 1 promotion spot to play in the national championship in the 2025 season.
