Closing the qualifying round, the 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament has determined the men's and women's teams participating in the final round taking place from October 10 to October 19 at Tra Vinh Provincial Gymnasium.
The men's event includes 8 teams: Ho Chi Minh City Police, Binh Duong, SK Pearlnest Khanh Hoa, Military Region 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Mobile Police Command, Ben Tre and host Tra Vinh. The women's event includes 6 teams: Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Kinh Bac Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and Vinh Long.
The men's teams are divided into two groups A and B, the 6 women's teams are placed in group C to compete in a round robin. The top 4 teams in groups A and B will compete in the semi-finals and finals. Meanwhile, in group C for women, the 3rd and 4th ranked teams will compete in the bronze medal match, the top 2 teams will meet in the final.
Each men's and women's event will only get 1 promotion spot to play in the national championship in the 2025 season.
With careful preparation and the largest foreign squad ever, the final round of the 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament promises to have many exciting and dramatic matches.
