After finishing the Hung Vuong Cup and the 2025 National A-League, the Vietnam women's volleyball team gathered and practiced in Quang Ninh. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team focus on improving their physical strength and expertise to prepare for the upcoming international tournaments.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team includes Kieu Trinh, Lam Oanh, Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Ly Ly (Information Corps), Thanh Thuy, Khanh Dang, Tra My, Kim Thoa (VTV Binh Dien Long An), Bich Tuyen, Le Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Trinh (LPB Ninh Binh), Phuong Quynh, Ninh Anh (Vietinbank), Yen Nhi, Anh Thao (Hanoi), Dang Thi Hong (Thai Nguyen), Nhu Quynh (Quang Ninh), Bich Thuy (Duc Giang Chemicals) and Nguyen Thi Uyen (Thai Binh).
According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have an additional month of training before participating in the Asian tournament - AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025 (formerly known as AVC Challenge Cup) from June 7 to June 14 at Dong Anh District Gymnasium (Hanoi).
After that, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will compete in the VTV Cup 2025 international volleyball tournament, scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 5.
At the end of the tournament, the Vietnam team continued to return to their "house" to prepare professionally for the Southeast Asian Volleyball Championship - SEA V.League (expected to take place in mid-August).
In addition, the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship will be held in Thailand from August 22 to September 7. Accordingly, the Vietnam team will face Poland (20:30 on August 23 local time), Germany (17:00 on August 25, local time) and Kenya (17:00 on August 27, local time).
At the end of the year, Thanh Thuy and her teammates will compete in the most important tournament of the year, the 33rd SEA Games, from December 7 to December 19 in Thailand.
