According to Lao Dong's investigation, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has not received an official announcement from Southeast Asian volleyball that it will host a stage of the men's or women's division of the 2026 SEA V.League.
It is expected that in February, when there is a specific announcement, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will begin to choose a suitable hosting location.
Vietnam is the host of a women's leg of the SEA V.League from 2023 to 2025. Last year, we were the host of leg 2 of the SEA V.League 2025 held at the Ninh Binh provincial gymnasium and won the championship. This is the first championship result of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team through participations in the SEA V.League of Southeast Asia.
In recent times, the women's content of the SEA V.League has been held in Vietnam and Thailand respectively.
The men's event of this tournament takes place in Indonesia and the Philippines.
However, some professional opinions have suggested that the organization of the SEA V.League 2026 tournament may change the round-robin competition content in countries to help fans at many competition points have equal rights to watch men's and women's matches.
It is expected that the SEA V.League 2026 tournament phase will be in August this year. Vietnam is owning many gymnasiums that ensure facilities that meet the standards of the Asian Volleyball Federation to organize tournaments for men and women.
