The 2024 National Table Tennis Tournament for Strong Teams is organized by the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province. Players will compete from October 27 to November 3 at Dong Nai Provincial Gymnasium.
This year’s tournament brings together 28 teams from provinces and cities across the country. Players will compete in 7 categories: Men’s team, women’s team, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, men’s singles, women’s singles. The total prize value this year is 185 million VND. This is also the highest prize in the history of the tournament.
At the press conference announcing the tournament held on the morning of October 26, the organizing committee drew lots to divide the competition categories.
This is the first time this prestigious tournament has been held in Dong Nai, marking an important milestone in the tournament's development history.
The National Table Tennis Tournament was initiated in 1996, and is a playground for the best teams and athletes in Vietnam, carefully selected from the National Championship. This is where the best faces of Vietnamese table tennis gather, creating attractive, dramatic and competitive matches.
