On November 12, 2024, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Secretariat reviewed and disciplined party members who violated and had shortcomings.
After considering the proposal of the Central Inspection Commission, the Secretariat found that:
During his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, Head of the Steering Committee for the 10th Grade High School Entrance Exam for the 2024-2025 school year of Thai Binh province, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien was responsible as the head for the violations and shortcomings of the Party Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province in leading, directing, and organizing the Exam; lack of responsibility in leading, directing, inspecting, supervising, and organizing the Exam; allowing a number of organizations and individuals in the Education sector of Thai Binh province to seriously violate the regulations of the Party, the laws of the State, and the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in performing their assigned duties and tasks at the Exam, leading to the announcement of incorrect benchmark scores and incorrect admission results of many candidates.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused serious consequences, public outrage, and negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization, State management agencies and the local education sector.
Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and cause of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Secretariat decided to take disciplinary action by removing Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien from all positions in the Party.
Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
Previously, at the end of September 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued disciplinary decisions against leaders and managers of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province.
In which, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Education and Training, was disciplined by the form of dismissal.
Ms. Tran Thi Bich Van, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, disciplined by the form of: Reprimand.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, seriously reviewed and drew profound lessons.
For Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, reviewing experience at the review conference for leading and managing civil servants of the Department of Education and Training.
