On January 14, the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Department of Culture and Sports, the Young Entrepreneurs Association in collaboration with Nghe An Radio and Television Station organized the program "Exchange between National Player Pham Xuan Manh and Nghe An Fans".
At the event, the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Nghe An province awarded a Certificate of Merit, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province awarded a Certificate of Merit to player Pham Xuan Manh for his excellent performance, helping the national team win the gold medal at the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship.
Units, individuals and organizations in the province also awarded player Pham Xuan Manh nearly 50 million VND.
At the program, player Pham Xuan Manh donated 20 million VND to the Tet For The Poor program of Nghe An province.
Pham Xuan Manh was born in 1996 in Minh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province. Becoming a player of Song Lam Nghe An, Xuan Manh was called up by coach Park Hang-seo to the Vietnam U23 team to participate in the 2018 AFC U23 Championship Finals.
At the 2024 Asean Cup, Xuan Manh was called up to the national team, participating in 6 matches with 531 minutes on the field. In the first and second leg finals, Xuan Manh contributed to helping the Vietnamese team win the Asean Cup for the third time.
