Today (8.4) the list of Vietnam men's volleyball teams focusing on in 2025 was announced. The list includes 4 coaches and 18 athletes from many clubs across the country.
The most surprising is the appearance of Nguyen Van Quoc Duy. At the beginning of the 2025 season, the male player was borrowed by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Team to play in the first phase of the National Championship. However, he did not have many opportunities to play.
Therefore, many people think that Quoc Duy's chance to return to the national team is almost non-existent because before that, although he played very impressively, he was still absent from the 2024 squad.
Being trusted by Mr. Tran Dinh Tien and the coaching staff is good news for Quoc Duy to continue to show himself.
The setter position marked the return of setter Dinh Van Duy after a period of injury. The male player born in 2000 is still the most outstanding player in the setter position in recent tournaments and has received many compliments from experts.
Coach Tran Dinh Tien also gave the first opportunity to join the national team to two setters Pham Thoai Khuong and Phan Cong Duc.
