Sports and Culture Newspaper (VNA) officially announced the nominations for the Cong Hien Sports Award in the 20th Cong Hien Award system.
The organizing committee also opened a polling portal for the public, coordinating with the votes of the press and the Selection Council to find the most deserving owners. The award ceremony is expected to take place on April 15, 2026 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Culture Palace.
Within the framework of the Cong Hien Sports Awards, 4 categories continue to be maintained including: "Sports Face of the Year", "Sports Achievement of the Year", "Young Sports Face of the Year" and "Aspiration to Contribute". This is not only a place to recognize achievements but also to honor positive contributions, contributing to spreading the spirit of sports in the community.

According to regulations, the 2 categories "Sports Achievement of the Year" and "Aspiration to Contribute" will be decided by the Selection Council. Meanwhile, "Sports Face of the Year" and "Youth Sports Face of the Year" are determined based on the combination of public and Professional Council votes, each side accounting for 50% of the total score. Fans can participate in voting on the BVOTE system from 8 pm on March 20 to the end of April 5, 2026.
The Cong Hien Sports Tournament is not only a place to record achievements but also a bridge between sports and the community, stories of effort and exceeding limits are spreading strongly.

1. Vietnam U22 Football Team wins SEA Games 33 gold medal (outstanding achievements of the year: Winning SEA Games 33 gold medal; Winning the U23 Southeast Asian Championship).
2. The Vietnamese women's futsal team won the SEA Games gold medal for the first time (outstanding achievement of the year: Winning the SEA Games 33 gold medal after 5 times winning the runner-up title; Reaching the quarterfinals of the Asian Championship).
