The reigning V.League champions are on a training trip in Korea, starting from July 22 in Incheon.
Although he is busy handling work at the Korea Football Association (KFA), Mr. Park still spends time visiting the team where many members were his former students during his time leading the Vietnam national team (20172022). Names like Van Toan, Tuan Anh, Hong Duy, Van Kien, To Van Vu and Thanh Hao were all moved when he asked about their health and injuries.
Mr. Park not only chatted intimately but also brought gifts to the players, showing thoughtful concern. In addition, he also sent his congratulations to head coach Vu Hong Viet on the occasion of his second consecutive V.League championship as well as his recent marriage. Coach Vu Hong Viet was Mr. Park's assistant during his time working at the Vietnam national team.
Currently, Mr. Park is holding the position of Vice President of the KFA, in charge of the Korean national team for the 2025-2028 term. Due to his busy schedule, he only had time to watch the friendly match of Nam Dinh club in the afternoon and left, and was scheduled to meet the team again when the club had the opportunity to go to Seoul to compete in the next few days.
