Today, player Quach Thi Lan finished training in China and returned home to continue preparing for ASIAD 20.
The Vietnamese athletics team has trained 18 athletes in China in the past month, helping to improve expertise before participating in ASIAD 20.
18 training athletes are identified as the key group competing for medals at ASIAD 20 of the Vietnam Athletics Team.
At the training session, Quach Thi Lan practiced with the 4x400m women's relay team. In addition to her, teammates also practiced with Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Le Thi Tuyet Mai.
Quach Thi Lan is currently one of the oldest and most experienced athletes in the Vietnam Athletics Team in 2026.
Also in the training camp in China, among the 18 athletes, the 4x100m women's relay team including Hoang Du Y, Kha Thanh Truc, Phung Thi Hue, Le Thi Cam Tu, Ha Thi Thu also practiced to strengthen their expertise.
Returning to Vietnam, 18 athletes continued to train at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
The coaching staff of the Vietnamese athletics team said that this is the last overseas training camp before competing in ASIAD 20.
The entire team of athletes competing in ASIAD 20 is currently in the country to be ready to go to Japan. The athletics event of ASIAD 20 will begin on September 24.
Each content team has grasped the preliminary competition schedule so that athletes can prepare until they officially arrive at ASIAD 20.
According to the announcement, the Vietnamese athletics team registered 25 athletes to participate in ASIAD 20.
