Competing in the championship system of the event, 4 athletes Truong Van Hieu, Trieu Thai Son, Dinh Hoang Quoc Bao, Ngan Ngoc Nghia finished first to win a gold medal for the People's Police team with a result of 39 seconds 04.
The above achievement has surpassed the National Record set in 2024 of 39 seconds 07 and become a new National Record.
In the women's 4x100m relay final, the Army's relay team including Nguyen Thi My Hanh, Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Quach Thi Hong Thuy, and Bui Thi Nguyen excellently won the gold medal with a time of 45 seconds 03.
The relay team of Ho Chi Minh City athletics chased right behind but only won a silver medal with a result of 45 seconds 07.
On the same day of competition, the 4x400m women's relay team of Nghe An athletics won a gold medal in the event with a time of 3 minutes 43 seconds 05.
In the men's 4x400m relay final, Hanoi 1 team including 4 athletes Nguyen Tung Lam, Nguyen Duc Son, Nguyen Xuan Quang, Nguyen Van Quyet won the gold medal (3 minutes 08 seconds 05).
For the program for the U20 youth group, the 4x200m men's relay team of the People's Police won a gold medal with a time of 1 minute 23 seconds 08.
The achievement of breaking the U20 National Record in the event is 1 minute 25 seconds 96.
In the 4x200m U20 women's relay event, Tay Ninh team ranked No. 1 with a result of 1 minute 38 seconds 90.
