Accordingly, VTF and NovaGroup will organize 4 professional tennis tournaments including: ATP Challenger 50 – Phan Thiet 1 tournament from January 19 to 25; ATP Challenger 50 – Phan Thiet 2 tournament from January 26 to February 1; ATP Challenger 50 – Phan Thiet 3 tournament from May 4 to 10 and ATP Challenger 50 – Phan Thiet 4 tournament from May 11 to 17.
The above four tournaments belong to the ATP Challenger Tour system - the second largest professional competition system in the world, playing an important launching pad for players aiming for the ATP Tour.
The prize money for each tournament is 63,000 USD. The total prize money for the two most recent tournaments will be 126,000 USD with about 80–100 athletes/tournament. The players mainly come from Asia and Europe.
The tournaments will be held at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, Lam Dong province - a modern sports, tourism, and resort complex, meeting the standards of organizing international professional tennis tournaments.
