The Professional Tennis Association (ATP) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) have announced the list of players who earned the most bonuses in 2025. The amount is only based on official tournaments, not on friendly tournaments - typically Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia.
Carlos Alcaraz leads with earnings of over 21.35 million USD from official tournaments. He has won eight titles, with the largest prize money coming from winning the US Open being 5 million USD, almost double that of Roland Garros.
The figure of over $21 million that Alcaraz earned does not include expenses such as fixed fees when participating in certain championships, advertising revenue or unofficial income from performance tournaments such as Six Kings Slam.
Jannik Sinner ranked 2nd when earning more than 19.1 million USD in prize money. If Six Kings Slam is included in the list, Sinner will lead, because he received up to 6 million USD when winning the tournament in Saudi Arabia.
Six Kings Slam is also a tennis tournament with a record high prize money in 2025, surpassing the 5.071 million USD that Alcaraz received when winning the ATP Finals.
On the female tennis players' side, no one earns more money than Aryna Sabalenka, who ended 2025 with a total official prize money of more than 15 million USD. The world's number one female tennis player, like Alcaraz, also pocketed 5 million USD for her victory at the US Open.
Among the highest-earning tennis players in 2025, the next three are all women: Iga Swiatek (9.9 million USD), Elena Rybakina (8.4 million USD) and Coco Gauff (7.7 million USD). These female tennis players earn higher bonuses than any other male tennis player, except for Alcaraz and Sinner.
Other male players with high prizes include Alexander Zverev with 7.4 million USD. Alex de Minaur (6.6 million USD) and Lorenzo Musetti (6.3 million USD). While the fifth highest-earning female player is Amanda Anisimova (7.2 million USD).
It is noteworthy that Novak Djokovic is only ranked 9th in the list of men's tennis players with highest prize money in 2025 with 5.1 million USD.
A total of 153 professional players earned at least $1 million in bonuses in 2025, including 88 male players and 65 female players.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
