As of the afternoon of October 10, all preparations for the 2025 Dat Sen Hong Marathon have been basically completed.
At the prizes area, thousands of athletes also came to receive BIBs and racekits (wearable numbers and items), creating a vibrant atmosphere before the G hour.
According to the Organizing Committee, up to now, items such as: main stage area, logistics work, volunteer arrangement, and medical team have basically been completed. Traffic diversion plans, ensuring security, order, safety for athletes, as well as food hygiene and safety have been implemented synchronously, ensuring the set progress.
The tournament has 10,673 registered participants (excluding 2,000 children), notably this year recorded a high number of foreign athletes participating, with 119 people from 20 countries (2024 with 20 athletes from 11 countries).
Regarding the competition schedule, the 800m distance for children will take place on October 11. The remaining four distances, including 05 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km, will depart on the morning of October 12.
In addition to the main competitions, the 2025 Dat Sen Hong Marathon also combines many attractive cultural and tourism activities such as: Southern Cuisine Festival; displaying and introducing local specialties; tourism promotion program; cultural and music exchange for athletes at Van Mieu Square.
