In just over a month, the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will begin. Accordingly, phase 1 will take place from March 22-31 in Dong Anh, Hanoi and phase 2 will be held from October 10-19 in Ninh Binh.
This year's tournament has received great attention from fans. First, the attraction comes from the fact that this playground has changed the number of participating teams, with only 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams, gathering quality names, not much of a gap in expertise and promising to bring exciting matches.
The Information Corps, VTV Binh Dien Long An, LPB Ninh Binh, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, Thanh Hoa (women) or Sanest Khanh Hoa, Border Guard, Tan Cang Sports, Ho Chi Minh City Police (men) all have a team of players with good skills and expertise and some outstanding stars in the squad.
Not to mention, the 2025 national volleyball tournament schedule has also been adjusted when the men's and women's events take place at the same time and at the same location in each stage. Therefore, fans can follow the tournament continuously without interruption.
This year, the women's clubs have had significant changes on the coaching bench. Accordingly, coach Pham Van Long left Duc Giang Chemicals after only 1 season to move to lead the Information Corps.
Meanwhile, the team of Mr. Dao Huu Huyen put their trust in coach Dao Huu Ha. He is a former top athlete of men's volleyball with a professional attitude and solid expertise.
The tournament also features a female coach, Tran Hien, from the rookie team Ho Chi Minh City, bringing a new look. Along with the participation of leading strategists such as Nguyen Tuan Kiet (Vietinbank), Tran Van Giap (Geleximco Thai Binh) or Thai Quang Lai (VTV Binh Dien Long An), the tournament promises to be an exciting intellectual battle.
The fact that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will participate in many international tournaments in 2025 is also a factor that promotes competition between teams and individual players.
Of course, stars like Thanh Thuy, Tu Linh, Kieu Trinh, Lam Oanh, Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Trinh, Kim Thoa, Tra Giang, Le Thanh Thuy... will have to work hard to keep their spots, while other players will also have more motivation to show themselves to catch the attention of the coaching staff. From there, the quality and results of the teams will also increase.
On the men's team side, the competition is even fiercer. After losing the championship title last season, Sanest Khanh Hoa is determined to reclaim the championship from Border Guard. Not only that, the challenge for them has increased many times over as opponents such as The Cong Tan Cang, Cong An Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, LPB Ninh Binh have all prepared carefully in terms of force, technique and tactics.
