Through the Congress, the Federation elected a new executive committee, including 1 Chairman, 5 Vice Presidents and 9 Executive Committee members.
In which, Mr. Nguyen Van Tri will continue to hold the position of Chairman of HBSF. Mr. Ly Kim Luan, Thai Chieu Dien, Nguyen Viet Hoa, Luong Khac Tam, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy hold the position of Vice Chairman.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tri, Chairman of HBSF shared: Over a term, the Federation has organized many successful tournaments. In the coming term, the pressure of the Executive Committee is real, but with the passion to develop the movement, the plan is to bring more domestic and international tournaments.
Right after this Congress, we will organize the World Cup in Ho Chi Minh City, this is a tournament that has been held many times. The preparation work has been almost completed thanks to the experience from previous times.

During the previous term, the federation organized a number of new tournaments, some tournaments for new subjects such as students. In the new term, we will organize these tournaments more regularly, targeting young people or tournaments for civil servants. During the second term, our goal is to try to bring home many international awards every year, especially in the 9-by, 10-by College, and some other carom awards.
The list of members of the Executive Committee this time includes Tran Quyet Chien, a player who has won the 3-cushion Carom World Cup 4 times. During his previous term, this player participated in the founding of the federation but has not yet joined the Executive Committee. After 4 years of great popularity, Tran Quyet Chien was officially admitted as a member.
Co Co was born in 1983 said: “I participated in the establishment of HBSF 4 years ago. This time until the 2nd term, I was elected to the Executive Committee. With the new role, I was assigned to develop the movement. I will try to develop myself and improve the Billiards movement not only in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country.
Vietnamese Billiards is developing strongly, with high reach with many large and small tournaments. Players will have more opportunities to compete and improve their skills. However, the concern at the moment is that the competition budget is still facing many difficulties. The Federation will try to find more funding to try to support the players in the best way possible.
