On the morning of May 13, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) of Ho Chi Minh City Police promptly rescued 4 people trapped in a fire that broke out at a luxury hotel on Nguyen Dinh Chinh Street, Phu Nhuan District.
The fire broke out at around 0:00 at a hotel with a total floor area of over 1,000 m2, where there was a restaurant and club business area serving alcohol. At the time of the incident, many tenants were staying inside.

As soon as the fire was discovered, some people shouted and tried to escape. At 0:58, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police received the report and quickly dispatched many specialized fire trucks and dozens of soldiers to the scene.
Considering the fire stemming from the 6th floor, the fire force deployed the fountain, and broke the door to escape smoke. Six reconnaissance bravely moved inside the fire and took 4 people out safely. Currently the health of the rescued people has stable.
By 1:01 a.m., the fire was under control and was completely extinguished in 5 minutes. At the scene, many properties such as lanterns, electric wires, tables and chairs were burned, glass doors were broken, exhibition booths for foreign wine and many bottles of wine were burned.
Although it did not cause any human casualties, the fire burned down many properties. Firefighting forces promptly protected the remaining areas of the hotel.
The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit in the electrical cabinet area on the 6th floor. The case is currently being further investigated by the authorities.
