On the evening of August 12, at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium (Binh Thoi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the final match of the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Cup took place with the participation of Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Son Bac.
The competition between the two biggest forces of Vietnamese futsal was dramatic. If Thai Son Bac is determined to maintain the throne, Thai Son Nam HCMC will enter the match with the desire to "recovering the debt" after a 1-10 defeat in the final last season. The match was heated up from the first minutes with high speed and fierce competition.

Thai Son Nam HCMC is considered to be the better team, but the initial advantage belonged to Thai Son Bac. In the second minute, foreign player Mota technically eliminated two opponent players before the ball reached Tu Minh Quang's feet. This player fired a long-range shot outside the 6m range, defeating goalkeeper Khanh Cuong, opening the score 1-0.
After conceding an early goal, Thai Son Nam HCMC stepped up their attack with the participation of many national players such as Minh Tri, Duc Hoa, Chau Doan Phat, Manh Dung. However, their shots were inaccurate or were poorly blocked by goalkeeper Van Tu. In addition, the ability to press continuously by the young players of Thai Son Bac also made it difficult for Thai Son Nam HCMC to deploy the ball.
The turning point came in the second half when Nhan Gia Hung (Thai Son Nam HCMC) received a direct red card for a dangerous foul. With a personnel advantage, Thai Son Bac accelerated and in the 35th minute, Van Tuan fired a decisive shot to increase the score to 2-0. With nothing left to lose, Thai Son Nam HCMC played power-play but was ineffective, even allowing goalkeeper Van Tu to score to seal a 3-0 victory for Thai Son Bac.
With a brave, convincing and effective performance, Thai Son Bac successfully defended the championship, thereby continuing to affirm its leading position in Vietnamese futsal and concluding the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Cup in an emotional way.
Previously, in the third-place match, Sahako FC defeated Hanoi FC 4-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in the official match, thereby winning the bronze medal. This is also Sahako's second bronze medal this season, after finishing in 3rd place at the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship.
