Main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was voted the most favorite athlete at the Victory Cup for the second time.

According to the audience's voting results ending at 11:59 PM on January 15, the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team - Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was named in the category of Most Favorite Athlete of the Victory Cup 2025. This is the second time the striker born in 1997 has won this title, after the first time in 2023.

In this year's voting, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy competed with many typical faces of Vietnamese sports such as Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming), Nguyen Thi Oanh (athletics), Nguyen Dinh Bac (football)...

This title reflects the level of interest and follow-up of the audience for Tran Thi Thanh Thuy in the past year. At the national team level, she continues to hold the role of captain and is a professional pillar of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.

In 2025, Thanh Thuy and her national teammates won the AVC Nations Cup for the 3rd consecutive time, won stage 2 of the SEA V.League and won a silver medal at SEA Games 33.

Besides regional tournaments, Thanh Thuy also plays an important role in the journey to win the runner-up position in the Asian Club Volleyball Championship of VTV Binh Dien Long An.

Currently, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is playing in Japan, continuously playing in the main squad. Competing in a highly competitive environment helps her maintain her form and accumulate international competition experience.

According to the plan, the Victory Cup 2025 Gala will be held at the end of January 2026.
