The Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports has completed preparations and is ready for the Departure Ceremony of the Vietnam Sports Delegation attending the 33rd SEA Games.

Preparations for the Departure Ceremony of the Vietnam Sports Delegation for the 33rd SEA Games are about to be completed, the High-performance Sports Department, the Vietnam Olympic Committee and related units will deploy synchronously.

This event marks the time when national teams are ready to enter the competition journey in the largest arena in the region, giving athletes more motivation for important tasks.

Accordingly, the Departure Ceremony is scheduled to be held from 3:00 p.m. on November 28 at the International Convention Center (Hanoi). To ensure solemnity and efficiency, the Vietnam Department of Sports and Physical Training has promptly established working groups in charge of each area of work, closely coordinating with professional departments, media units and sponsors to review the entire preparation process.

The ceremony program was carefully built to highlight the spirit of solidarity, tradition of resilience and determination to conquer new achievements of athletes and coaches in 2025.

The ceremonial contents such as the arrangement of the squad, the list of delegates and guests have been agreed upon in the latest meetings at the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

Meanwhile, the technical - logistics system, from sound and lighting to security and healthcare, is also being completed and will be inspected and tested before the event day to ensure safety.

The representative athlete force attending the ceremony was selected by the National High-level Athletes Training Center in accordance with regulations. Communication activities around the event have also been promoted to create an exciting atmosphere, spreading the spirit towards the SEA Games.

Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet emphasized that the Departure Ceremony is an important stage in the preparation process for the international competition campaign, so units are required to strictly implement the criteria: solemnity, safety, economy and efficiency.

Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this year's launching ceremony is expected to convey a strong message of the spirit of "confidence - discipline - professionalism", adding motivation for the Vietnamese sports delegation to steadily step forward to the regional arena.
