Foreign referees will officiate from round 21 of V.League

According to information from Vietnam Real Estate Joint Stock Company (VPF), the Organizing Committee has agreed with the Referees' Committee, proposed and recommended that VFF approve and support VPF in inviting foreign international referees to officiate a number of matches in the final stages of the 2017 V.League.

Accordingly, Japanese referee " Jumpei lida will officiate an important match in round 21 of V.League. VPF has not announced this match, but it is likely to be a match between FLC Thanh Hoa (the first-placed team) and Hanoi FC (the fourth-placed team) at Thanh Hoa Stadium.

Referee Jumpei Iida has been awarded the FIFA title since 2011 and has a lot of practical experience through the management of tai lieu for important matches of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) such as the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Asia.

Recently, Mr. Jumpei Iida hosted the match between Kitchee (Hong Kong, China) and Hanoi Club in the AFC Champions League qualifying round in January 2017.

Referee Jumpei Iida was also invited to play the opening match between Melbourne Victory and Liverpool in front of 95,000 spectators at Melbourne cricket Ground Stadium before the 2013 - 2014 season.

The invitation of foreign referees to officiate important matches at the end of the season has been carried out by VPF since the 2014 season. That year, VPF invited referee Kimura Hiroyuki to officiate the match between Hanoi T&T and Thanh Hoa in round 24.

In V.League 2015, referee Okabe also officiated the match between Hanoi T&T and B.Binh Duong. Malaysian referee Mohd Nafeez Abdul Wahab will take the match between Dong Nai and HAGL, Thai referee Pechsri Mongkolchai will take the match between B.Binh Duong and FLC Thanh Hoa.

In V.League 2016, Malaysian referee Nazmi bin Nasaruddin officiated the match between Hanoi T&T and Hai Phong. Referee Teetichai Nualjan (Thailand) started two other important matches between Long An - HAGL and referee Takuto Okabe (Japan) to officiate the match FLC Thanh Hoa - Hai Phong.

As planned, VPF will invite at least 5 foreign referees to officiate important matches in the last 6 rounds of V.League 2017.
