The Thai women's volleyball team received the target of winning the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games held at home.

Head of the Technical Department of the Thai Volleyball Federation and also head coach of the Thai Women's Volleyball Team, Mr. Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai affirmed at a recent meeting with Thai media that the host volleyball team set a target of winning 2 gold medals at the 33rd SEA Games.

Championship targets for indoor women's volleyball and beach women's volleyball. The home men's volleyball team aims to reach the final.

Mr. Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai started to return as head coach of the Thai Women's Volleyball Team from 2025.

This year, the Thai women's volleyball team has participated in a number of important tournaments such as the FIVB Nations League, the 2025 World Championship and the 2025 SEA V.League.

At the 2025 V.League, for the first time, the Thai Women's Volleyball Team lost to the Vietnam Women's Team in the decisive match in the second stage, so they were in second place. The Vietnam women's volleyball team won the second stage. The tournament took place in Ninh Binh.

After this tournament, coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai shared with the press that the coaching staff must consider more carefully the expertise to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

The Thai women's volleyball team has never lost in the finals at the SEA Games. Two years ago, Thailand beat Vietnam 3-1 in the final to maintain their No. 1 position at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia in 2023.

Coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai also confirmed that Thai players playing abroad will be able to gather to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in December. This year, the Thai women's volleyball team ranked 13th at the 2025 World Championship.
