Vietnam men's volleyball team will have a training program in the South

After the training program in Bac Ninh, all members of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team will move to the South.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team plans to have a training program at a training location in the South in the near future.

Currently, 22 members of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team are practicing in Bac Ninh to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

3 hitters including Quan Trong Nghia, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and Duong Van Tien officially joined the team after finishing the 2025 National A-League in Ha Tinh.

The Vietnam men's volleyball team will practice in Bac Ninh until mid-November. Next, coach Tran Dinh Tien and the coaching staff sent the players to the Southern region for professional training. This is a training phase for players of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team to get used to the same climate as when competing in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. The training location in the South will be specifically selected by the coaching staff next week.

At this time, 18 players are practicing professionally for the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team, namely Dinh Van Duy, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Pham Van Hiep, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Pham Thanh Tung, Hoang Xuan Truong, Nguyen Thanh Hai, Trinh Duy Phuc, Tran Anh Tu, Nguyen Xuan Duc, Pham Quoc Du, Huynh Trung Truc, Duong Van Tien, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and Quan Trong Nghia.

In the early training period of 2025, the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team competed in international tournaments including AVC Champions League 2025, AVC Nations League 2025 and SEA V.League 2025.

After a training period in the Southern region, coach Tran Dinh Tien will reduce the list of 14 official players going to Thailand to compete.
