Vietnam women's futsal team leaves for China to compete in Asian tournament

This morning (January 1), the Vietnam women's futsal team began traveling to China to prepare for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship finals.

The flight of the Vietnam women's futsal team departs from Tan Son Nhat airport at 11:35 a.m., passing through Guangzhou (China) before landing in Inner Mongolia (China) at 552 p.m. the same day.

Before leaving, the team's coaching staff had finalized the official list of players participating in the tournament. The two players who parted ways with the team are Dinh Nguyen Ngoc Linh (Thai Son Nam HCMC Club) and Nguyen Thi Tu Anh (Hanoi Sports Training & Competition Center).

Sharing before leaving, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said: "The goal of the whole team is to try to win a place to participate in the World Cup, but in the immediate future, we will focus on passing the group stage to have suitable calculations for the bigger goal".

The coaching staff also said that the players are currently in good health and ready to enter the tournament.

When in China, the team will have an important friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team on March 3 to review the force and perfect the strategy before the tournament officially starts.
