According to the plan, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team will maintain training and friendly matches in Japan until the end of February 20 (ie, the 4th day of Tet). After that, the whole team will have a day off on February 21 before heading to Thailand on February 22 to officially participate in the 2026 Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship.


This is considered an important preparation stage to help players consolidate physical strength, perfect tactics as well as strengthen cohesion in the playing style.
The coaching staff also took advantage of this training session to review the force, creating conditions for new factors to integrate into the squad, aiming to build an optimal squad before the tournament.

At the 2026 Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship, the Vietnam women's futsal team is in Group B with opponents Myanmar, Philippines and Australia. With the status of the reigning regional champion, the team sets a goal to play well in each match, in the immediate future is to get through the group stage to advance deeper in the tournament.
The tournament will take place from February 24 to March 2 at Terminal Hall, Terminal 21 Korat Trade Center (Thailand).
