The Vietnam national futsal team is directly led by Mr. Tran Anh Minh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation as Head of the delegation, head coach Diego Giustozzi.
Mr. Diego Giustozzi and his team departed from Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC) on a flight that took off at 10:30 am, expected to land at Jakarta International Airport at 1:50 pm on the same day.
After arriving in Indonesia, the Vietnamese futsal team will move to their base to stabilize their activities, and at the same time complete the final preparations before entering the competition at the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals.
Before leaving, the Vietnamese futsal team completed the training phase at the Chanh Hung Futsal Stadium (HCMC). In the process of preparation, the team had important friendly matches to review the force, improve the playing style and improve competitive bravery, notably 2 clashes with the Afghanistan futsal team.
Head coach Diego Giustozzi has also finalized the official list of 14 players, ready for the challenges in the Asian arena.
At the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals, the Vietnamese futsal team is in Group B with strong opponents including the defending Asian runner-up Thailand, Kuwait and Lebanon.
With methodical preparation, high determination and in-depth force, the Vietnamese futsal team aims to perform at their best, strive to achieve positive results and continue to affirm the position of Vietnamese futsal on the continental map.
