The training session was arranged by the coaching staff at an early time to help the players get used to the quarter-final match time.
The weather in Osaka is sunny and the temperature is higher than in previous days. However, the players still maintained their concentration, completing fully the lesson plan set out by the coaching staff.
In about an hour of training, the focus is on tactical content and how to operate the squad against the Chinese women's team - an opponent highly appreciated for physique, fitness and technique. The coaching staff also trained the players in handling situations under pressure from the opponent.
After 3 consecutive matches in the group stage, some players showing signs of overload are continuing to be monitored by the medical team and perform appropriate recovery exercises. Physical fitness management is prioritized to help players have the best condition before the important match.
The remaining players maintain stable physical condition and actively complete the training contents. The training atmosphere took place seriously, focused, with the goal of completing the final plans for the confrontation with the Chinese women's team.
The quarter-final match between the Vietnamese women's team and the Chinese women's team takes place at 1:00 PM on September 25th (Vietnam time).
In the quarter-finals, 8 teams including North Korea, Taiwan (China), China, Vietnam, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Japan and the Philippines compete for 4 slots in the semi-finals of ASIAD 20.
