U15 Vietnamese women were present in Melbourne (Australia) to participate in the friendly tournament CommBank Emerging Championships 2026 taking place from April 9 to April 15.

On the morning of April 9, the Vietnam U15 women's team departed for Australia with a force of 18 athletes. After a journey lasting about 11 hours, the whole team safely arrived in Melbourne on the evening of the same day and quickly settled down before entering the professional preparation stage.

According to the plan, in the afternoon of April 10, the team will have their first training session to get used to the weather and field conditions in the locality. The temperature in Melbourne is currently around 17 degrees Celsius, quite favorable for the training process as well as the adaptation of young players.

At this year's tournament, Vietnam U15 women's team will compete at the Home of the Matildas Center - a modern training center for Australian women's football. This is a youth development playground with high professional quality, gathering many leading youth teams in the host country and international guest teams.

Participating in CommBank Emerging Championships 2026 is considered an important opportunity for Vietnamese U15 female players to accumulate international competition experience, improve their battlefield bravery and approach many different playing styles. At the same time, this activity also contributes to strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese and Australian youth football in training and developing successor forces for the future.
