In the first 10 minutes, the game was quite balanced as both teams actively played an open game and created dangerous opportunities towards the opponent's goal.
However, Indonesia was the team that took advantage of the opportunity better. In the 13th minute, from a quick counter-attack, Alan had a favorable pass for Haerul to control and finish delicately at a tight angle, putting Indonesia ahead 1-0.
After conceding the goal, coach Trinh Huu Thanh's students pushed up their formation to find an equalizer. However, the opponent's disciplined counter-attacking defense and impressive speed caused many difficulties for the Reds. In the 26th minute, in a face-off with the goalkeeper, Haerul continued to shine to increase the score to 2-0 for Indonesia.
