However, Indonesia was the team that took advantage of the opportunity better. In the 13th minute, from a quick counter-attack, Alan had a favorable pass for Haerul to control and finish delicately at a tight angle, putting Indonesia ahead 1-0.
After conceding the goal, coach Trinh Huu Thanh's students pushed up their formation to find an equalizer. However, the opponent's disciplined counter-attacking defense and impressive speed caused many difficulties for the Reds.
