On the afternoon of April 30, coach Okiyama Masahiko and his team maintained a training plan with reasonable exercise volume, and also practiced according to the official competition time frame to adapt to weather conditions, light and circadian rhythm.
After the training session, the whole team directly surveyed the stadium at Taihu Football Sports Center (Suzhou, China) to get acquainted with the grass, competition space as well as organizational conditions. The fact that the entire accommodation location, training ground and competition ground are arranged centrally helps the team save travel time and ensure the best physical condition before the match.
According to the schedule, Vietnam U17 women's team will face Thailand U17 at 2:30 PM on May 1st (Vietnam time). This is considered an important match in the group stage competition.
Sharing before the match, player Ngoc Anh said that the whole team has accumulated more experience through friendly matches, especially analyzing video footage to adjust tactics and improve the squad. The coaching staff also gave detailed comments for each position, thereby improving coordination and competition efficiency.
Assessing the opponent, Ngoc Anh said that Thailand U17 is a team with high expertise and rich experience in Southeast Asia. However, Vietnam U17 women's team has had a thorough preparation process, from training trips in Japan to the domestic training phase, and gradually adapted to the new tactical system.
With synchronous preparation in terms of expertise, physical strength and spirit, the Vietnam U17 women's team aims for positive results in the opening match, thereby creating an advantage in the race to advance in the tournament.
