Vietnam U17 women's team draws with Aichi Toho University in Japan

On April 11, the Vietnam U17 women's team played the final friendly match in their training trip in Japan, against Aichi Toho University team.

U17 Vietnam women's team entered the game proactively and soon had the opening goal in the 5th minute. From Minh Anh's pass, Yen Linh neatly controlled it before launching a shot from outside the penalty area, putting the ball into the net, helping the team take a 1-0 lead.

However, the home team quickly equalized in the 12th minute after an attack from the wing, equalizing the score 1-1.

In the second half, Aichi Toho University took a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute. However, U17 Vietnam women's team continued to play hard and equalized 2-2 in the 62nd minute thanks to Thanh Lam.

The draw against Aichi Toho University closed the series of friendly matches of U17 Vietnam women's team during the training trip in Japan. This is an opportunity for the coaching staff to review the force, accumulate competition experience and improve professional skills for the players before returning home to continue preparing for the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship finals.
