U23 Vietnam will spend a minute commemorating the victims of the train capsize in Quang Ninh

The organizing committee will spend a minute commemorating the victims of the train capsize in Quang Ninh before the match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Cambodia in the 2025 U23 Southeast Asian tournament.

According to information from the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) and the tournament organizing committee, the proposal to organize a moment of silence from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has been approved.

The moment of silence will take place right before the opening whistle, with the participation of all players, coaching staff of the two teams, referee groups and spectators on the field.

Although it was a match that decided the ticket to the semi-finals of Group B, this commemorative event showed the spirit of sharing and humanity surpassing the sports competition factor. This action also demonstrates the social responsibility of the young players as well as the image of solidarity and affection that football brings.

Coach Kim Sang-sik and his students of U23 Vietnam are preparing carefully for the match, but at the same time are aware of their role in spreading community values. The moment of celebration before the match is expected to leave a special emotional mark on fans both on and off the pitch.

The match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Cambodia in Group B of the 2025 U23 Southeast Asian Championship will take place at 8:00 p.m. tonight (July 22).
