The 33rd SEA Games officially opened the women's futsal tournament today (December 12), with the opening match of Group B between the Vietnam and Indonesia women's futsal teams.

This is considered an important match, opening the journey to compete for medals for coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team, and the team's goal is to win all 3 points to create favorable momentum.

The Indonesian opponent has a fast playing style, good physical strength and will be a big challenge. However, the Vietnam team entered the match with confidence after a month of thorough training in the country, along with two quality friendly matches with the Chinese women's futsal team in Hangzhou. Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang affirmed that the whole team is ready in terms of both form and strategy to aim for the best results at the 33rd SEA Games.

Notably, the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) also closely accompanied the team. President Tran Quoc Tuan and Vice President Tran Anh Tu will directly visit Bangkok Thonburi University Gymnasium to encourage the players and add more spiritual motivation before the opening match.

In addition to expertise, logistics work also received special attention. Due to some difficulties in the menu arranged by the organizing committee, VFF has proactively coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand to supplement meals from reputable restaurants, ensuring optimal nutrition for the players.

Previously, Vice President Tran Anh Tu directly inspected the accommodation hotel of the men's and women's futsal team in Nonthaburi, directing the logistics department to closely coordinate with the hotel to best living conditions for the athletes.

With careful preparation in terms of expertise and logistics, the Vietnam women's futsal team is aiming for the goal of winning the opening match, creating favorable momentum for the journey to conquer medals at the 33rd SEA Games.
