Although they had to move quite early, the girls of the Vietnam women's futsal team still expressed their excitement at the journey to conquer the 33rd SEA Games gold medal in Thailand.

The Vietnam women's futsal team brought to the SEA Games 33 stable forces with 2 goalkeepers Tran Thi Hai Yen, Ngo Nguyen Thuy Linh and 12 players from many units. The core group is still the Thai Son Nam HCMC athletes (8 people), along with players from the Thong Nhat Sports Training and Competition Center, Vietnam Coal and Minerals and the Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center.
According to coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang, the team has gone through a period of careful preparation through training trips, competing in 4 friendly matches to perfect the playing style and strengthen the cohesion. He assessed that the group will have many challenges when Indonesia progresses rapidly and Myanmar changes significantly in playing style and personnel. The team's immediate goal is to pass the group stage before calculating for a higher goal at the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the plan, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang will attend the press conference before the opening match on December 11. In the opening match on December 12, the team will face Indonesia and face Myanmar in the final round on December 14.
