VFF encourages young women's national team teams before the Lunar New Year

Leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) visited, wished Tet and encouraged the two youth women's national team teams before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 holiday.

On the eve of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on behalf of VFF leaders, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu directly went to the training ground to wish Tet to the coaching staff and players of the two young women's national team teams who are gathering at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

According to the plan, the players will have Tet holiday from February 12th and return to training on February 23rd (ie, the 7th day of Tet). VFF has coordinated to prepare thoughtfully for organization and transportation so that the players can conveniently return to their localities to celebrate Tet with their families.

At the meeting, VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu cordially inquired about the training situation, daily life and homecoming plans of each member. He also conveyed New Year greetings from the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee and the collective of the VFF agency to the families of the players.

Encouraging the two young women's national team teams, the VFF General Secretary acknowledged the spirit of effort and serious training attitude of the players in the past time. He expressed his expectation that the players will follow in the footsteps of the older generation - those who are competing and training internationally and aiming for major continental arenas. VFF leaders believe that from today's young force, more promising faces will appear, contributing to the national women's teams in the future.

On the occasion of the beginning of spring, VFF sent Tet gifts to all players of the two teams before they returned to reunite with their families. The meeting took place in a warm and exciting atmosphere, adding motivation for young female players to strive to train, ready for important tasks in 2026.
