The signing ceremony was attended by VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu and representatives of functional departments and agencies.
Mr. Koshida Takeshi, Japanese nationality, has held the position of Technical Director of VFF since June 1, 2023. He is a candidate recommended by the Professional Committee of the Japan Football Federation, is considered an experienced expert, holds a Pro coaching degree and has more than 30 years of experience in coaching and technical management at national teams as well as youth levels.
With a solid professional foundation, Mr. Koshida Takeshi was once trusted by the Japan Football Association to participate in national coach training, directly teaching at level C, B and A coaching courses.
During his time working at VFF, Mr. Koshida Takeshi participated in teaching at many coaching training courses and professional seminars.
In addition, he closely coordinates with professional departments and coaching staff of national youth teams in orienting, building and developing the Vietnamese youth football training system.
The Japanese technical director is also directly in charge of human resource training for Vietnamese football, especially the team of young coaches and technical directors at clubs and football centers.
These contributions help improve professional quality, update modern training trends and methods of international football, thereby gradually narrowing the development gap between Vietnamese football and the region and the world.
Speaking at the contract extension signing ceremony, Mr. Koshida Takeshi said that since working with VFF from June 2023 to now, he has participated in many training courses with about 300 students.
He expressed his gratitude for the trust and support from VFF leaders, and hoped to continue to complete the task well in the coming time with the support of colleagues from Japan.
The contract extension with Mr. Koshida Takeshi shows the consistent direction of VFF in the sustainable development strategy, taking training and improving the quality of human resources as the foundation for the long-term development of Vietnamese football.
