VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan sent a thank-you letter to clubs and training centers contributing to the success of U17 Vietnam.

After the impressive journey of U17 Vietnam in 2026 with the U17 Southeast Asian championship and a ticket to the 2026 U17 World Cup, Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, sent a thank-you letter to football clubs and training centers across the country.

This is considered a move recognizing the important role of the youth training system in the success of Vietnamese football in recent times, especially at the U17 level.

In the letter, Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan expressed his appreciation for the units that have closely coordinated and created conditions for players, coaches and professional staff to gather with the Vietnam U17 team during the training and international competition process.

VFF leaders highly appreciate the spirit of responsibility, sharing and active support from clubs as well as football training centers. This is considered an important foundation to help U17 Vietnam complete two major goals in 2026, which are to win the U17 Southeast Asian Championship and reach the quarter-finals of the 2026 AFC U17 Championship to win the right to participate in the 2026 U17 World Cup.

Besides the professional significance, Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan said that the achievements of U17 Vietnam also contribute to adding faith and pride to fans, and at the same time affirming the increasingly progressive position of Vietnamese football in the continental arena.

One of the highlights mentioned by VFF is the link between national teams and the youth training system at clubs and football centers. According to VFF leaders, this effective coordination will be the foundation for Vietnamese football to develop in a professional, sustainable and internationally integrated direction.

VFF also expressed its desire to continue to receive companionship and coordination from training units in building forces for national teams in the coming time.
