On May 15, according to PV's investigation, the Government Inspectorate has just sent a document to the Government Office, in which it is stated that, implementing Document No. 4035/VPCP-QHĐP dated May 6, 2026 of the Government Office on responding to the recommendations of National Assembly Deputies at the Discussion Session on the results of supervising the settlement of voters' recommendations sent to the 10th Session, 15th National Assembly; based on the assigned functions, tasks, and powers, after review, the Government Inspectorate reports as follows:
At the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the Government Inspectorate received 11 recommendations from voters under the authority of the Government Inspectorate to resolve and respond.
Immediately after receiving it, the Government Inspectorate urgently organized research and handling, ensuring that the response to voters' petitions was within its authority, on time and with quality assurance; not allowing situations of backlog, overdue or late responses to occur.
The content of the answers has closely followed the voters' recommendations, focusing on clarifying the legal basis, handling results, responsibility for organizing implementation and handling directions for contents that need to be further researched and completed (in Report No. 3543/BC-TTCP dated December 31, 2025 and Report No. 655/BC-TTCP dated March 12, 2026).
Regarding the content of definitively handling outstanding and prolonged recommendations through the 15th National Assembly sessions, the Government Inspectorate has 15 recommendations, mainly related to inspection work, anti-corruption, negativity and building and perfecting institutions.
Based on research, receiving opinions from relevant agencies and organizations and summarizing the practice of law enforcement, the Government Inspectorate has received or partially received 7 recommendations and institutionalized them in Law No. 136/2025/QH15.
Regarding the remaining 8 recommendations, the Government Inspectorate said that 3 recommendations are currently being further studied and reviewed to ensure the synchronicity and unity of the legal system and to be consistent with practical requirements; 2 recommendations are not accepted because they are no longer consistent with the current 2-level local government organization model, 3 recommendations are not accepted because the content of the recommendations has been regulated and adjusted appropriately in current legal documents or has met practical requirements, so it is not necessary to amend or supplement it in the Law (in Report No. 469/BC-TTCP dated February 27, 2026).
In the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to improve the quality of research, resolution and response to voters' recommendations; strengthen the review and summarize the practice of law enforcement, promptly detect difficulties, obstacles, and inadequacies in mechanisms and policies to study and propose competent agencies to amend, supplement, and improve laws under the state management scope of the Government Inspectorate, ensuring the synchronicity, unity, and feasibility of the legal system, meeting the practical requirements of state management and the legitimate aspirations of voters and people" - the Government Inspectorate's document clearly stated.
