According to research, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 King's Cup International Women's Volleyball Tournament in Thailand has invited the VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team to participate. For now, VTV Binh Dien Long An is the only representative of Vietnamese women's volleyball participating in this tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to be held from August 12 to August 18. VTV Binh Dien Long An team is practicing to maintain professional skills in preparation for the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. Therefore, coach Thai Quang Lai will only use domestic players competing in Thailand.
The VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team has players on international duty at the moment, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vo Thi Kim Thoa (Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team) and Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Lan Vy (Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team).
In April this year, VTV Binh Dien Long An team competed and won the runner-up position in the AVC Champions League 2025 (Asian Women's Club Championship).
With this result, the team was able to participate in the FIVB Women's Club 2025 (Women's Club World Championship). When competing in the AVC Champions League 2025, coach Thai Quang Lai borrowed striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh to add to the team.
Currently, coach Thai Quang Lai has not decided on the list of 14 players who will participate in the King's Cup 2025.
