According to the plan, after finishing the mission at VTV Cup 2025 (taking place at Vinh Phuc Stadium) on July 5, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will continue to participate in the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 international friendly tournament in Shanghai (China).
The coaching staff has agreed to assign coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa to lead and direct the team in the upcoming tournament. Accompanying coach Ngoc Hoa and her team are fitness expert Karl Lim and assistant coach Nguyen Ngoc Dung.
This is the first time the veteran middle blocker of VTV Binh Dien Long An has taken on the role of head coach of the Vietnam women's volleyball team. Previously, in 2024, the former player born in 1987 was a member of the coaching staff of the Vietnam Youth Women's Volleyball Team. In 2025, she will be included in the coaching staff of the Vietnam women's volleyball team and be an assistant to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.
When participating in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 with the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in early June in Dong Anh (Hanoi), Ngoc Hoa shared: "Being present in the national women's team coaching staff is an experience for me to study, improve my coaching skills, and serve my upcoming work.
I am very happy to have the trust of the coaching staff, to be enthusiastic and dedicated so that I can do my job well. My main job is currently to take charge of challenges, closely follow the athletes' meetings, and supervise the athletes on the field.
Because I was in the process of learning, I was not very bold, I needed to try harder. I will study with Mr. Tuan Kiet and the coaching staff to do my job well".

Just like the image of one of the most outstanding talented middle blockers in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball, Ngoc Hoa is always humble and diligent in improving her skills whether as an athlete or as a coach.
After more than 20 years of working in top-level volleyball, Ngoc Hoa not only possesses an impressive record but also accumulates valuable experience in tactics, competitive spirit and inspiring ability.
Now, when she has the opportunity to lead the national team in a friendly tournament, she can pass on those values to the next generation of athletes.
Not simply a person who adjusts tactics, Ngoc Hoa clearly understands the mentality of competition, the pressure of the field and even the times when her heart needs to speak up. She is expected to be a bridge between experience and youth, contributing to improving professional quality, enhancing cohesion and international competitive spirit for the players in the upcoming tournament.
