VTV Binh Dien Long An temporarily parted ways with Thanh Thuy
On July 7, the homepage of Gunma Green Wings club (Japan) announced that the main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will be in the squad of this team competing in the Japanese national volleyball championship in the 2025-2026 season.
This is the 7th time the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has gone abroad, and the 3rd time the 1997-born hitter has competed in Japan.
Thanh Thuy's move abroad means VTV Binh Dien Long An will not have her service in the second phase of the 2025 national championship.

In the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy played with the home team VTV Binh Dien Long An. She contributed greatly to helping the Western team finish second after phase 1.
Thanh Thuy's home team once shared that although the absence of this main striker to serve in the second phase is a regrettable thing for VTV Binh Dien Long An. However, this team always grasps and meets Thanh Thuy's wish to go abroad so that she can develop herself.

Today (July 7) is the 21st birthday of opposite Nguyen Thi Tra My. The hitter of VTV Binh Dien Long An team received many wishes from relatives, friends and fans.
Nguyen Thi Tra My is the main hitter of the VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team in the opposite position. She has played effectively in the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. After that, the player continued to participate in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 in Phu Tho but unfortunately suffered a knee injury.
Since then, she has had to temporarily stop competing and cannot join the national team to participate in tournaments such as the VTV Cup 2025.
It is known that Tra My is recovering very positively. Fans expect her to return soon.

Women's team returns to Quang Ninh
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has ended its journey at the VTV Cup 2025 with the runner-up position. According to head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, after the final match of the tournament, even though there was no victory, the players still showed that they were ready to compete with the highest spirit, not giving up at any time.
Currently, the Vietnam women's volleyball team has returned to Quang Ninh to continue professional training. The team will be divided into two teams, one participating in an international friendly tournament in China under the leadership of coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, a team with many pillars will focus on preparing for two matches of SEA V.League 2025 (taking place in August).
