Update on gasoline and oil prices on September 19: At 5:00 PM, world oil prices simultaneously decreased sharply.

At 5:00 PM on September 19, world oil prices simultaneously fell sharply. WTI oil price was at 99.53 USD/barrel, down 2.38 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.34%. Brent oil was at 103.19 USD/barrel, down 1.63 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.56%.

At the end of the last trading session of the week, world oil prices fell sharply, ending a two-week winning streak, amid more positive market signals about the possibility of cooling down US-Iran tensions and the risk of supply disruption in the Middle East showing signs of decreasing.

Oil prices have cooled down, but it does not mean that supply risks have been resolved. The market is still particularly sensitive to developments in Hormuz and diesel supply, so price fluctuations in the near future may still be high.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: Unfavorable prospects for ending the conflict between the US and Iran; escalating conflict in the Middle East between Houthi forces and Saudi Arabia, Houthi forces attacking Saudi Arabia causing fires at some oil facilities and oil pipelines; US Federal Reserve (Fed) raising interest rates; conflict between Russia and Ukraine continuing, targeting each other's energy facilities...

The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the upward trend is main.
