In this operating period, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance implements the provision and use of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund (temporary advance fund from the state budget).
- Biofuel: 1,250 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil: 2,000 VND/liter;
Mazut oil: 1,250 VND/kg.
After implementing the use of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund for gasoline and oil items as above, the selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 25,139 VND/liter (an increase of 1,395 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 497 VND/liter;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 25,636 VND/liter (an increase of 1,397 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 29,945 VND/liter (an increase of 1,460 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 19,196 VND/kg (an increase of 1,039 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
Gasoline and oil selling prices of neighboring countries Vietnam on September 17, 2026:
- Regarding gasoline prices: Thailand: 31,294 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 30,697 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Laos: 52,056 VND/liter; China: 33,719 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 25,886 VND/liter.
- Regarding oil prices: Thailand: 31,894 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 34,854 VND/liter; Laos: 44,184 VND/liter; China: 30,626 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 29,945 VND/liter.
Vietnam's gasoline and oil prices are currently low compared to countries sharing a common border.
