At 7:50 PM on April 21, WTI oil price was at 87.43 USD/barrel, up 0.01 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.01%. Brent oil was at 95.31 USD/barrel, down 0.17 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.18%.
Oil prices fell on Tuesday, reversing the upward momentum of the previous session, due to expectations that peace talks between the US and Iran would take place this week and lead to increased oil supply from key production areas in the Middle East.
Previously, oil prices increased by about 5% in yesterday's trading session due to concerns that the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran could collapse after the US seized an Iranian cargo ship and traffic through the Strait of Hormuz was still largely disrupted.
The world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is influenced by key factors such as: the US deploying measures to blockade the Strait of Hormuz; expectations for further negotiations between the US and Iran to end the conflict; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine still taking place... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each item.
